Change the font in a cell

Question: How do I change the font in a cell in Microsoft Excel 2016?
Answer: By default when you create a new workbook in Excel 2016, all cells will be formatted with the Calibri font. You can change the font within any cell to improve the look of your document.
To change the font in a cell, select the text that you wish to change the font for. This can either be the entire cell or only a character in the cell.
Microsoft Excel
Select the Home tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen and select your new font from the drop-down (see picture below) in the Font group.
In this example, we are choosing Times New Roman as the new font for the cell.
Microsoft Excel
Now, the text that you selected should appear in the chosen font.
